The

Challenge

In a saturated market of home comfort specialists, Comfort Hub needed a fresh brand to stand out from the crowd. Comfort Hub needed a website that worked for them, and that cut the middle-guy out. The goal was to create a website that acted as a sales tool that enabled users shop for HVAC products, create a quote and instantly book an in-person consultation. The online experience had to be world class and use the latest UX and UI trends paired with best web practices on mobile and desktop screens.

The

Approach

Inspired by the client’s values of comfort, friendliness and no-pressure sales tactics. A new logo was created to reflect these values. The new logo featured a one-colour approach that translated well to mobile screens and email templates. The logo’s rounded font and slanted application represents friendliness, and a speedy, non-aggressive sales approach. While the circle over “hub” shows the company as a one-stop-shop for everything related to home comfort.

Website

Design

The brand was then extended to a new website. The website was the integral part of this project, since it had to offer a robust quote-builder tool. Extensive research on best practices, latest trends, and development production techniques went into creating the website and quote-builder. It was settled that the best course of action was to divide the quote process into 4 steps: selecting your home size, selecting the products categories, choosing the products, and then entering your contact information.

The

Results

After the launch of their website, qualified leads started to trickle in. The client was extremely happy with the results and with the overall look of the brand. Confident in the design and development provided, Comfort Hub hired me to produce more designs shortly after.
