Papershoot is an eco-friendly camera that promotes simplicity and living in the moment. The cameras are sustainably sourced, and offer easily interchangeable covers to suite your type of personality. Papershoot's approach to photography brings back the nostalgic feel of disposable cameras with added benefits of the latest technology.

My

Approach

After a kick-off meeting with the client, my approach was to prioritize a clean and visually appealing layout tailored to their brand identity. This started with the homepage design. Since the camera had so many appealing options, it was important to bring them visually to the forefront. Highlighting key selling points such as: 4 filters to choose from, various customization options, and the overall company values was detrimental to create a homepage tailored to the client’s needs.

The current state on their product photos was a point of attention. Since the cameras had such beautiful customization options, it was important to showcase them in a visually appealing way. To achieve this, I created custom mockups that included realistic lighting and shadows to make the product images pop!

In order to represent their brand across the website, I focused on incorporating elements such as colour schemes, and imagery that aligned with their overall aesthetic. Additionally, given the importance of customer service to their business, I ensured that the website was user-friendly and easy to navigate, with a clear and concise menu and intuitive search-ability.

The clients were extremely happy with the results. Having a clean and organized website helped the client with online sales while promoting their unique brand. In total 10 pages were designed to ensure an easy transition to development.
